Print Prescriptions Overview

Two steps
Writing prescriptions takes two steps: adding new medicine(s) to the clinical chart and printing the new medicines. This approach combines prescriptions so that four may fit on one page.

Star prefix
Medicines in the clinical chart which need to be printed are preceded by one or more stars (*). After the medicines have been printed, the stars are removed.

Only the user who added the medicines is allowed to print the new medicines. If another user views the clinical chart, they will not see the stars in front of new medicines created by other users.

Synchronization
Medicines are added to the clinical chart without synchronization. That is, they are written locally, but not transferred across the internet to other medical systems. Medicines are synchronized (sent on their way) after they have been printed.
